Graduate of architecture, artist, designer and graphic designer... Three years working in the design industry with Anna Flanders across international and national creative projects. Sourcing local creatives and working with makers and artists in public art (Voxlab), interiors and commercial and hospitality projects.

Internationally renowned fashion designer turned cook... Fenella has moved from head chef at Sydney’s Bayswater Brasserie in the 90s to her much-loved Perth fashion and cafe Nells in the mid-2000s and now her decadent feasting tables. All about flavour and fresh, seasonal food.

Restaurant manager, bar manager and sommelier, botanical mixer pioneer… Our Flavour Alchemist is all about wines with integrity, nature knows best and understanding and accentuating flavour profiles through simple to complex pairings. A huge supporter of local, seasonal food.

Those Old Bridge Cellars guys are just so inspiring when it comes to all types of imbibing. Big supporters of small-batch wines and wines with great provenance, they are as much into the story behind the drop as the drop itself. Very much a serious passion, rather than a job.

Melanie and her husband Joe have been responsibly buying for their shop Remedy since before it was a thing we all thought about. They have been leaders in this way of thinking for the past 20 years, and have watched the industry change to their way of thinking in that time.

She’s the queen of botanics. Angela has been creating beautiful floral and foliage arrangements since a watching her grandmother as a child. She’s been leader in adopting natives and bringing natives and European species together, and today creates bunches to large-scale designs.

Bill and his partner Lou are the boffins behind Boffins Books. Having been in the book game as for more than 30 years, they have amazing reference points when it comes to literature and authors. Avid readers themselves, they are the gurus when it comes to a good read.

These two are the passion behind what was Western Australia’s first dedicated indoor plant store. These two have lived through the fledgling to now booming indoor plant market, and are keen indoor gardeners themselves. Not only selling plants, but also teaching the lifestyle.

Fine arts graduate, textiles artist and bonafide boffin, meet Lauren. A long-time staffer at Boffins Books, she knows a good coffee table read. And after working in the industry for many years, she also has great reference points to distinguish the best from the even better.
