The Gubi Chair 2D is a series of light dining and bar stools made from laminated veneer with a wide range of applications. It is an extension of the iconic Gubi Chair Collection from 2003. The series is defined by a more sleek, minimalistic chair with two-dimensional veneer shell that can be mixed and matched with a wide series of wooden or metallic bases.
Chairs and stool series:
The 2D Gubi Chair and Stool are available with a shell in three different veneers: oak, walnut and black stained oak. The shells can be front upholstered or fully upholstered in a range of different fabrics and leathers. The base is available in four varieties: a sled base in chrome or black painted steel, a wooden base in American walnut, oak or black stained beech, a centre base in black painted metal and a swivel base in chrome or black painted metal.
