The IC Floor Lamp designed by Michael Anastassiades is part of the IC Collection, a series of lights from Flos that explores balance.
The design takes the form of a sphere that is perfectly balanced on the edge of a rod, which is explored throughout the lighting series. Anastassiades took inspiration from an online video of a contact juggler spinning a set of spheres, moving them around on his arms and on the edge of his fingers. As he watched, the spheres suddenly looked perfectly still.
