The design takes the form of a sphere that is perfectly balanced on the edge of a rod, which is explored throughout the lighting series.
Anastassiades took inspiration from an online video of a contact juggler spinning a set of spheres, moving them around on his arms and on the edge of his fingers. As he watched, the spheres suddenly looked perfectly still. Mesmerised by the magic of his skills, Anastassiades captured this exact moment in the IC designs.
